You’re invited! Don’t Bother to Knock watch party!

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to quickly announce that on October 24th the Pinup Book Club will be holding its very first Virtual Watch Party of the Marilyn Monroe thriller Don’t Bother to Knock. I have been wanting to do monthly movie nights with the Book Club for a long time, and because this month’s book is the basis for Don’t Bother to Knock, it seemed like a perfect movie to dive right in.

Here’s how it will work: at 6pm PST, I will begin livestreaming on Instagram, and will start playing the movie at that time. You can feel free to play the movie on your own (you can rent it on Amazon Prime ), and come to the livestream to see where we are in the film, and make any comments during the watching. There will be a small discussion afterwards!

Not on Instagram? Book Club members will have the option to join a pre-party via Zoom at 5 pm PST, and have the opportunity to chime in that way! There may even be a costume contest for book club members!
